Here’s a little about our imperfect Pastor Leon Thomas, Jr. who understands the human plight. Yes, we realize all have sinned, everyone in this world was born in sin, so our Pastor is real. We are a church that understands, led by a believer that understands that Jesus is the Answer. If Jesus Christ can change the life of Pastor Thomas and pour His Anointing upon and into him, He will do the same for you!
Leon Thomas, Jr. was born in and called to the ministry at Grand Rapids, Michigan. I was introduced to Jesus at the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church by my parents from birth. I confessed my call to the ministry on March 27, 1972, and preached my first sermon on the first Sunday, May 1972, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church under Rev. J.L. Hudson. Continuing to grow in the Lord Jesus, the best I could, I was led to Bethel Pentecostal Church, Grand Rapids, Michigan under Bishop William C. Abney. On August 2, 1992, I was ordained by the Wayside Apostolic Church of Deliverance, Bishop Frank Allen, Vicksburg, MS, officiating.
I am now convinced to only preach what the Lord bids me. The Lord Jesus Christ is the Preacher, He is the Teacher, I am His vessel. I will live the life in yielded obedience to His Glory. I determine not to lie or to handle His Word deceitfully. All that I do, I do in obedience to Him. I determine to Love the brethren and to follow peace with all men. The Word of the Lord sets forth the principles and instructions for all mankind and His obey. I am a worker together with God in reconciliation and as He leads, I plant, and I water faithfully looking for Him to give the increase. The Earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof and all that live therein. The Lord has brought from darkness to light! I recommend Jesus!

What We Believe
We believe that the Scriptures, commonly referred to as the Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God; written by holy men of God as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. 2 Peter 1:21
We believe in one God (the Father) who is Spirit; fills all space and time; creator of all and all exists in Him; infinite in power, holy in nature; omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. 1 Timothy 2:5; John 4:24
We believe in the Virgin Birth. Jesus Christ of Nazareth was born both human and divine; is the only begotten Son of God; is the Word of God made flesh and dwelt among us (mankind), is the expressed image of the Godhead bodily, and this same Jesus is coming back for the church. We believe that Jesus Christ of Nazareth sent by His Father to Comfort, reconcile, teach, heal, suffer and die for our sins, save us from our sins, lay down His life and pick it up again, raised by the Father, all power given to Him and a name above all names by the Father is God, Lord, Savior, Head of the Church, now in Heaven seated on the right hand of the Father as Mediator ever-liveth to make intercession for those who believe and become His sons, members in His Body is alive as Lord, Savior, and our God until all things shall be subdued unto Him, Jesus will reign until the last enemy is destroyed which is death, then shall the Son also Himself be subject unto Him that put all things under Him, that God may be all in all. We believe Jesus prayed the Father to send another Comforter, the Holy Ghost to baptize and fill each who believes in the Gospel of Jesus Christ the Son of God and repents, and to teach all things, bring all things to remembrance whatsoever He said, give comfort in tribulation and trouble, sealing us with His Promise of reconciliation and redemption. We believe in baptism in water by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and in the baptism of the Holy Ghost, speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. We believe in a holy, sanctified life; divine healing; communion and foot washing; the glorious catching away after the last seal has been opened and the Judgment.
